Just celebrated our mother's 90th birthday in a private room at Rico's. Rico's has been a tradition in our family for celebrating special occasions for many years. We've always had wonderful experiences there, the food, the wait staff, and Rico himself usually greets us sometime during our visit. The food is always fresh and perfectly cooked and served. The restaurant has an old school vibe, a bit more formal, but not pretentious. We hope to continue to celebrate our family's special occasions at Rico's for many more years.

I have to say lunch was delicious. I had a gift card to use & we are 50 minutes away. Figured a nice lunch with the wife. Started off with fried zucchini flowers! Had these all the time when my parents had a garden. Wife got the salmon & scallops. I got the broiled scrod. Dessert we got tiramsu & I think strawberry cheesecake. House salads also delicious. If ever in the area a great spot to stop.

We recently hosted my mother’s retirement party at Rico’s, and it was absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The private party room was incredibly nice, providing the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. The food was nothing short of amazing, every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was outstanding. David, Red, and Brian went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of, and their attentiveness and hospitality truly made the evening special. My entire family was thrilled, and our friends were thoroughly impressed. If you're looking for a fantastic place to host an event or just enjoy an incredible meal, Rico’s is the place to go. I can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!

I started my night in the bar area while waiting for my table. I ordered the Lemon Drop Martini and it was the perfect thing to start my night. The bar was super busy but the bartenders were very attentive and even asked to take pictures of me and my friends as we were going out for Valentines Day. I had never been here before but it's my boyfriends favorite restaurant so I told him make the reservations and let's try it. Upon driving up to the restaurant you are met with a valet then when you walk in there is a maiter d' and a coat checker. It's more upscale so do be prepared for that when you go. As as appetizer we ordered the Fried Zuchinni.... let me tell you something.... this by far the BEST Fried Zuchinni I have ever tried in my life! I would come again and again just to order that. It's lightly breaded with the best seasoning and my friends loved it just as much! I got the Filet for dinner and was so happy that it was cooked perfect with it being medium rare not at kitchens cook the meat correctly and I have to send it back quite often. The Asparagus that was paired with the Filet was AMAZING! The garlic and butter used was phenomenal. I just can't get over how great this place was overall. If you want an upscale restaurant that's been around forever check this place out. It's so good and the staff is so friendly that it's worth it!

I've only been here for lunch, but on my last visit I had some of the best gnocchi I ever tasted. Today I had a delightful dish of chicken with peppers and mushrooms in a tomato basil sauce. It was wonderful! There is a wide list of desserts from which to choose. The ambiance is cozy and comfortable, the service great. Overall, you can't miss with a meal here!

I dined at Rico’s Restaurant for a private gathering with extended family paid and catered by a relative on Saturday, February 1st, 2025. The service was fantastic, great location, cool views, nice staff. The food options were sort of limited, just some pasta and some chicken, but I’m not sure that’s any fault of Rico’s Restaurant, probably the family catering plan? Overall we spent a couple of really nice hours and the food was still delicious while in small portions and limited choices. If I was back in Pittsburgh I would probably stop back in again.

Had a great time at Rico's. The Zucchini and Hot Peppers appetizers were both very good. The Pittsburgh rare steak was cooked perfectly and adding a side of Fettuccine Alfredo was the perfect pairing. Definitely recommend if you want a good steak and pasta.

We were here today for a funeral luncheon. It was very nice and the food was very good. The dessert cakes were the very best. Such a nice selection and were delicious. The restaurant and room we had the luncheon in was just perfect. I am giving a 5 star rating for all of the above; however, there was one cranky waitress....(didn't get her name). We were in the back room by the ladies room and I mentioned to her, when I came out, that there was no toilet paper at all in the one stall and none under the sink. She looked at me like I had asked her to do something so terrible. My cousin asked if she could have another chair for our table and that same waitress flat out said, "No!" Then she did bring one to us later. Another cousin asked for hot tea. It was served to her from the far end of the table instead of bringing it to her by her side. I know it was a busy day for the waitresses, being we were told there were 3 funeral luncheons, but her attitude wasn't very nice.
